OVERVIEW
CX-RL-RF series level controller is applied to detect the liquid with adhesiveness, solid grain, mill dust,
other compounding slurry, etc. in the storage bin, silo or other container. It can also be used in measuring
the interface between two different liquids, e.g. oil -water boundary.
The characteristic of CX-RL-RF series level controller is by simple and quick calibration,
stable performance, strong versatility to all kinds of model, easy mounting, beautiful outline and so on.
It can be widely applied in the industry field such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy,
electric power, medicine, foodstuff, paper-making, building material etc. The controller
can be used with PLC programmable controller or DCS control system to implement the automatic detection
and automatic control in process.
CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
1. . CX-RL-RF Series RF admittance level controller is the use of high technology, the electronic circuit to generate a small RF signal power on the probe, the probe is used as sensitive element, the future signal changes from a dielectric constant feedback to the electronic circuit; because of these changes including capacitance and conductance, so the electronic circuits in the treatment is the reactance (Capacitance and impedance of the integrated signal changes)signal;
2. The reactance change then causes the phase change of HF signal on the electrode. So the phase difference between HF signal on electrode and basic signal in circuit will also be changed accordingly. After the change is processed, circuit is driven to output an alarm signal to detect whether the material in the hopper or not.
3. CX-RL-RF series level controller is adopted three-terminal Cote – Shield technique to eliminate the effect that adhesive level on electrode pole against control function. One of HF signal produced in circuit is sent directly to detecting electrode, the other is sent to protective cover through a RF voltage follower. The phase is all the same as the signal added on detecting electrode. When there is a level adhesive on probe, as a capacitance is created between protective cover and silo wall, so the HF signal added on protective cover will make the capacitance tend to be saturation, which lead to the HF signal on probe cannot flow into container wall through adhesive layer. When there is a plenty of level touch the probe, the current on probe around over saturation area flows into container wall, then a signal that presents level is produced
