3. Laser portable clamp-on flowmeter

Principle: Use the interaction between laser beam and particles in the fluid to measure flow velocity and then calculate flow rate.

Features: High-precision, non-contact measurement, suitable for occasions with extremely high measurement accuracy requirements.

Application: It has applications in scientific research, high-end manufacturing and other fields, but it is relatively special.

 

4. Other types (less common or theoretically portable)

Electromagnetic portable clamp-on flowmeter: Theoretically, it can be made into a portable version for flow measurement of conductive liquids, but it may be less common in actual applications.

 

Differential pressure portable clamp-on flowmeter: Calculate flow rate by measuring the pressure difference generated by the fluid in the pipeline, but the portable clamp-on version of the differential pressure flowmeter may be limited by the complexity of installation and maintenance.

 

Vortex portable clamp-on flowmeter: Vortex flowmeters are widely used in the industrial field, but portable clamp-on vortex flowmeters may not be common because the installation and calibration of the vortex generator requires a certain degree of accuracy and stability.
