Clamp-on Liquid Flow Meter, also known as clamp-on liquid flow meter, is a non-contact flow measurement instrument that measures the flow of fluid in the pipeline through a sensor installed externally on the pipeline without direct contact with the fluid. Working principle

 

Clamp-on Liquid Flow Meter mainly measures flow based on the principle of ultrasonic time difference method. Specifically, it uses the fact that when ultrasonic waves propagate in the fluid, the flow of the fluid will change the propagation speed of the ultrasonic waves, thereby generating a time difference (i.e., the time difference between downstream propagation and upstream propagation). By measuring this time difference and combining parameters such as the inner diameter of the pipeline and the sound velocity of the fluid, the flow rate of the fluid can be calculated.
