displacer type level transmitter working principle
Basic Composition
The float type liquid level transmitter consists of a float, connecting rod, lever, torque tube assembly, sensor, and electronic conversion part (including CPU, A/D, D/A converter, LCD display, etc.). As the core measuring element, the depth of immersion of the float in the measured liquid varies with the liquid level.
working principle
Buoyancy effect:
The float is immersed in the liquid inside the outer float and rigidly connected to the torsion tube system. When the position or interface height of the liquid inside the outer float changes, the buoyancy of the float submerged in the liquid will also change accordingly. According to Archimedes' principle, the buoyancy experienced by a buoy is proportional to the mass of the liquid displaced, so changes in buoyancy can reflect changes in liquid level.
Displacement and rotation angle changes:
The change in buoyancy causes the displacement of the buoy in the vertical direction, which is transmitted to the torsion tube component through the connecting rod and lever. The torque tube component undergoes a change in angle when subjected to torque, and the size of the angle is proportional to the level of the liquid. Specifically, the higher the liquid level, the greater the buoyancy on the float, the smaller the torque on the torsion tube, and the smaller the torsion angle; Conversely, the larger it is.
Signal conversion:
The change in torsion angle is transmitted to the sensor rigidly connected to the torque tube. The sensor outputs a corresponding voltage signal based on the change in torsion angle. After being amplified by an amplification circuit and compensated by a compensation circuit, this voltage signal is converted into a standard current signal (usually 4-20mA or 0-10mA) for remote transmission to the operation control room for display, alarm or automatic control.
Job characteristics
Wide measurement range: The effective detection range of float type liquid level transmitters is usually 0-0.2-20m, which is suitable for various liquid level measurement scenarios.
High measurement accuracy: Through precise displacement measurement and signal conversion technology, float type liquid level transmitters can achieve high measurement accuracy, with accuracy levels typically at 0.5, 1, or 1.5.
Strong adaptability: Float type liquid level transmitters have advantages such as acid resistance, moisture resistance, shock resistance, and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to various harsh industrial environments.
Easy to operate: The float type liquid level transmitter can perform routine setting operations through on-site buttons during operation, making it convenient for users to debug and maintain.
